Hi everyone,

I'm trying to set up diald on a Linux machine at home. I want to use it
together with IP masquerading to connect my LAN to the internet whenever
someone on the LAN starts a program that needs Internet access.

I have trouble getting diald to set the default route once it has dialed
in. I've included 'defaultroute' in /etc/diald.conf, and it correctly
sets up a default route to the SLIP device. It also dials in when I
start something that requires Internet access, but then it removes the
default route to the SLIP device and fails to add one to the PPP device.
Then I then add it manually everything works fine. I've tried adding
'defaultroute' to the pppd-options line, but pppd says that
'defaultroute has been disabled'.

Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong? How do I set this up?
I'll post my /etc/diald.conf and other relevant files when asked.
Thanks!

Regards,
Pepijn Schmitz
