        Subject: Need EXTREME help.

        Hello,

Please excuse the ignorance, but after failing to get the NAT
and demand
dialing built into Windows 2000 to work, I have turned to Linux.

I have a 5 computer LAN, one box being SUSE Linux, 6.2. I have
ppp, slip,
diald, and ipmasq installed. I haven't installed a custom
kernel, but have
been told the stock has everything I need. The box is up and
running, I can
run wvdial and get connected to the internet no problem, but
don't think
that this has any bearing on my wanting to use diald.

My problem is I don't really know where to start, I want to have
my Linux
machine nat all of my addresses and dial my isp when another
network machine
needs access to the internet. I have looked at man pages and
howtos but
don't really know the best order to do things. Can some
generous hearted
soul help me out? Just some ordered steps to get me going would
be GREATLY
appreciated. The more in depth the better.

        Thanks in advance.

        Phil
