Right, according to that, ppp_async and ppp_generic are what the ppp
module has split into in development kernels. It doesn't say what to set
the aliases to if you have a single ppp module though, so I've set them
both to ppp. I was getting messages about char-major-108 not being
found, but not tty-ldisc-3.
