SUBJECT: Diald on RH 6.1
Has anyone successfully gotten diald compiled from source to
work with the
pppd and chat bundled w/ a fresh install of RedHat 6.1?
Using the slip interface pppd hangs during startup from diald.
Using ethertap chat complains abouy being unable to get terminal
parameters.
I originally thought I was related to my ipmasq usage. But
disabling
ipmasq doesn`t help at all.
Using RedHat`s ifup ppp0 works like a charm w/ and w/o ipmasq.
TIA

I have one of these problem on RedHat 6.0 using the 0.99.1-2.i386.rpm:
Using ethertap chat complains about being unable to get terminal parameters.
I would like to know if James Thompson ever solve that problem?
