I am running RH6.0, diald, squid, socks5 etc on a Compaq P90 as my firewall
/ Internet router.

I have an ISDN external modem that plugs into the serial port of the
Compaq. The serial ports max speed is 115000bps.

Is this limiting the max speed of the ISDN modem with both channels open?

The reason I ask it with one channel up I can get 7Kb a second, with two
channels open I max out at 10.8Kb a second.

Any help appreciated
