I did not see an answer to your query. I recentlyl (yesterday) installed
RH6.1 and had the same problem. Apparently the kernel has changed something
in the way it handles diald's route add command. I had to add the following
at the beginning of my ip-up script:
#! /bin/bash
/sbin/route add -net 0.0.0.0 dev $1
Something about the default gw options to the route add command and the dev
options do not operate the same way that it did in RH6.0.
