Using Diald on my Linux box, with an external US Robotics 56k.
It seems that when Dialing my ISP, often their Modems are Busy,
and After time, Diald is unable de Dial.
stoped Diald manualy, and use cu command
issue atdp <number >, the modem responds with ERROR, but it dials when using
onother phone number.
Every thing becomes fine, when switch off/on the modem manualy.
is this a diald problem or a modem problem.
how do i reinitialise the modem without manual intervention.
( in the INIT string )
