Ron,

I have it running on RH6.0 and RH6.1 Systems.

For RH6.1 you will need to perform the following:

1. Update your PPP with new PPP Package from RedHat
Errata-Bugs Fixes Download Site. Fixes intermittent dialing
problems, as well as, a few other PPP bugs.

2. Update your INITSCRIPTS with new INITSCRIPTS Package
from RedHat Errata - Security Advisories Download Site.
Fixes some known Routing Issues with the Network Device
Config and Network Up Script Files.

3. /etc/ppp/options.

     Add "noauth".

4. Add the following lines to you /etc/rc.d/rc.local script.
They should be executed prior to any IPCHAINS or
     Masquerading Module Loading.

     echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward
     echo 2 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_dynaddr

The first enables IP Forwarding. This is not really required
if you have the RH implementation of FORWARD_IPV4 =yes
     in your /etc/sysconfig/network file.

The second, a Kernel Setting, enabled Dynamic Address
Hacking. This will allow for DIALD to identify your IP Address
correctly if you have a DYNAMIC IP Address assigned by
your ISP (i.e. DHCP). For DYNAMIC Addressing, this
is required in addition to the "dynamic" option in the DIALD
Configuration File. You can find documentation on this
     setting in the Kernel Documentation:

     /usr/src/linux/Documentation/networking/ip_dynaddr.txt

There may be a few other minor configuration adjustments related
to PPP and DIALD specifically, dependent on you requirments.

If you need help, let me know...

Jeff
