Hello, I have the following configuration: A diald linux box ,which also masquerades some other linux boxes, a windows NT machine that shares some directories to the linux boxes (via samba) and a windows 95 machine which share it's printer to the linux boxes.I have the ipchains rules up all the time and all machines have the diald linux box as a default gateway. When a request is made (let's say dns) from a linux box ,diald establishes a connection but it doesn't change the default route to point to the actual ppp link.I added a addroute script that does this and it seems to work fine.Is this the right way to do it?I saw the reroute option in diald man but when i put it in diald.conf it sais "unknown option"...I also noticed that even after the link is up, the request from the linux box has a noticable delay before it's actually been served? Any ideas?
