That's fine.  I use RH 6.1 which also uses the sysv boot process.  I have no
problem creating the necessary scripts and linking them in.  It would be
great, though, if you could just email me (or post) the diald init script
that is used by debian.  That way I don't have to reinvent the wheel.  I'd
really appreciate it.

I'm going to temporarily back-burner the ntp project until I resolve the dns
issues we are discussing in another part of this thread.  But I'll be getting
back to you on this shortly.
