hello diald-folks ! i have encountered a strange thing with netscape communicator 4.7. after connecting to a secure server via https, it keeps sending https requests. i noticed that diald would keep the link up when apparently nothing was going on. i killed netscape, but a network analyzer still showed the https requests. i made sure no more instances of netscape were running, but they remained. is there a local demon involved in secure connections that keeps the link busy even after netscape was killed ? i know this is not diald related, but i guess some of you might be able to confirm this behaviour ?? thank you very much, yours j�rn -- J�rn Nettingsmeier Kurf�rstenstr. 49 45138 Essen, Germany - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-diald" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
