Hi I have beent trying to get diald to work on an RH6.2 with the latest updates from redhat. I have downloaded the diald-0.99.4 version and compiled it and installed it. I have gotten diald to dial-up my ISP that is using PAP authentication but as soon as the handshake goes down it disconnects. I have this output in /var/log/messages when i start diald: ----snip------------------- May 16 20:49:09 lina diald[6468]: Unknown option 'reroute' May 16 20:49:09 lina diald[6469]: start tap0: SIOCSIFMETRIC: Operation not supported May 16 20:49:09 lina diald[6469]:start tap0: RTNETLINK anwers: No such process ----snip------------------- I have been trying to find out what reroute is... from the www.redhat.com and some others with no luck. It must be a command I think or?
