Everything seems to be reasonably, however whenever diald tries to
call /usr/share/diald/connect (which calls
/usr/share/diald/modem/generic) chat seems to fail straight away. This
feels like it is because it decides it isn't connected to anything; as
when I do
piamox7:/usr/share/diald# DIALD_LINK=redhotant ./connect
myself chat is called and talks to the tty that I'm on. If I typed
"OK" and "CONNECT" myself, it all works fine and $? is 0.
How can I check what chat is trying to talk with ? Note that if I add
echo commands to the modem/generic script, they turn up in syslog...
Nick.
