I don't know if this is the cause of your problem, but the diald
documentation warns about putting pppd options in the ppp options
file. It is recommended that you put them in a pppd-options line
in diald.conf, e.g., "pppd-options noauth", etc. On my system,
my ppp options file exists but is empty, and all the pppd options
are on one line in the diald.conf file; they are as follows (with
certain information munged):
pppd-options noipdefault passive noauth user [EMAIL PROTECTED]
This works (more or less) for me. Whether using the options file
is causing your problem or not, I cannot say, as I am a newbie at
most of this.
Sincerely,
Chris Jenkins
