Hi,

some time ago someone posted code to create
a indexfile (index.vdr) for mpegs to use
them with vdr.

The first version only worked on some files, with
other files it produced a indexfile with wich the
recording shows wrong lenght (i.e. 3 minutes instead
of 30 minutes wich it should have).

Some days later someone posted better code, i
can make indexfiles wich show correct lenght when
replaying with vdr now.

The only thing wich isn't working correctly is
fast forward/backward, while ff/rw i only get
broken sound but no picture.

I compared this with working recordings from vdr
(delete original index.vdr with perfect ff/rw and
create a new one with genindex) an the genindex prg
creates a working index.vdr, but with broken ff/rw.

So the broken ff/rw is not a fault of my mpeg-files.

Could someone fix this ? My knowledge in c-programming
and especially the mgep-stream-format is very poor,
otherwise i would like to do it myself.

Because i like to watch DVDs (converted to *.vdr-files)
with vdr i would be glad to have a working ff/rw.

...Andreas
