I did a patch to make some things configurable:
MenuLines
MenuColums
Position of ChannelInfo (Top,Bottom)
It seems to work, but it's not well tested at the moment.
TODO: add translations for the new texts.
Klaus: maybe you could include this to your main source tree?

PS: I hope compressed binary is ok here. Uncompressed it was too
big to make it to the list.
