I tried it, and with this version, the changing of channels takes now _ages_ 
(about 8 to 10 seconds). I re-checked 0.84, it is as fast as before, to be 
sure I also cvs-updated the DVB-driver.
Something you introduced in 0.85 broke the channel switching at least in my 
configuration (one Hauppauge DVB-S 2.1 card with linux-2.4.7, latest cvs 
driver).

Let me know if I can deliver some more (debug-?)information.
