Hi, I would like to buy a sound card with a S/PDIF output for my VDR PC, so I can listen to Pro7 recordings in Dolby Digital quality. Has anyone got this to work really well (i.e. trouble-free)? Which sound card are you using? I'll be grateful for any info, even if it's negative (like: stay away from a certain card, it's nothing but trouble).
