Well, what do you mean?
You can't turn off trickmode, you only can choose between two
different modes. Some people (like Klaus ;-) don't like the new
multispeed mode and so it configurable which mode is used.
Or does you keep switching between modes all the time?
If you would like, that vdr start with faster trickmodes, you can
change the initial options to e.g. 3 and vdr will start
trickmodes in fasted speed, but you can adjust speed afterwards
with left/right.
