Or in future some will have DVD-R or DVD+RW in their vdr-machines ... and
like to have bigger Files ....on the other hand it would be nice to tune
the filesize and re-cut a recording to get the desired file size. But this
cold be an alternative. how about an input field like the "jump-to" field
while in cutting mode. In that field the User can type in the desired
filesize of the slices .. if nothing typed in the size remains on 1GB like
now ...

I think it's time to group the setup parameters in chapters. Now there are
too much paramters and it isn't so easy to find the correct. If you have
chapters i think more paramters are great because i also often change the
size of maxvideofilesize because sometimes i want to burn the files to a
cd
without any conversation and i need files about 650MB. But if i convert
them
with divx it is easier to have big files or one file.
