Yes, it's a typo.
This is correct:
During playback : right -> enter fast forward
left -> enter fast rewind
During pause : right -> enter slow forward
left -> enter slow rewind
During forward : right -> increase speed
left -> decrease speed
During rewind : left -> increase speed
right -> decrease speed
