[linux-dvb] diskless vdr?

Hello ML,

does anybody already as a diskless VDR running?

I'm thinking of a mini-linux on CompactFlash and the /video on NFS or SAMBA.
Is such a thing running somewhere?

Or do you think booting from lan is easier and / or cheaper?
