It is not a hardware problem, unless my hardware and others
have the same problem.
It is always cured immediately by a driver reload, so it can
also not be a thermal problem.
I think the problem started with driver version 0.81.
See Guido Fiala's posting "dvb 0.81 OSD-color bug-report"
of February 4th.
Reload your driver often, other things also work much better
with a freshly loaded driver.
If you use vdr, specify a low watchdog timer value and use
the runvdr script. This will reload the driver automatically
as soon as things start getting sluggish.
