Only if there is no EPG data present at that time.
Otherwise it will start immediately.

If you don't want to wait 10 seconds, you can modify

#define MAXWAIT4EPGINFO 10 // seconds

in menu.c accordingly.

I guess what you mean is related to the "running status" of an event.
Since this is not supported really good by all stations I haven't
used that yet. But maybe later...
