Would you please explain why it is illegal to view eg. Canal+ with this software? I always thought that the smartcart contains the right to view these channels. After reading this webpage again, I am still thinking, that the software drives a smartcard reader and REQUIRES a LEGAL SMARTCARD. Where could I conclude that this software is illegal ? ad -----Oorspronkelijk bericht----- Van: Felix Domke [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Verzonden: zaterdag 29 september 2001 21:43 Aan: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Onderwerp: [linux-dvb] Re: software decoding of crypted channels ? > I have downloaded the whole stuff some time ago (Webpage and programs). Please keep in mind that the use of this program is just ILLEGAL since you don't own a SECA-license. As always, the expensive thing is the LICENSE you buy (if you own a CI) and not the hardware itself. (I don't know why aston is still so happy, but i just want to protect you and all other developers from HUGE legal problems with Canal+ et al.) bye, felix domke -- Info: To unsubscribe send a mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe linux-dvb" as subject. -- Info: To unsubscribe send a mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe linux-dvb" as subject. -- Info: To unsubscribe send a mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe linux-dvb" as subject.
