I've got one of the first Rev. 2.1 cards from Hauppauge (retail version with remote control etc.) and an AlphaCrypt CIM. I tried WinDVBLive 2000 under Windows several times. The first version crashed the CIM after a couple of minutes but a later version (sorry, I cannot look it up now because I disconnected the Windows harddisk) worked fine. A friend has been using WinDBBLive 2000 for almost a year now with an Irdeto Allcam which will crash the driver regularly or the screen will suddenly just stay black. I don't think the problem described on the DVBForum is the same but CIM problems are a common thing with DVB receivers. I don't know if it's so difficult to follow the specifications or if the specifications leave too much room for interpretation ;-) Let's just wait and see if Premiere World will start shipping CIMs only in January. If something is wrong with the receivers then, we will see software updates from the STB manufacturers ... hh -- Info: To unsubscribe send a mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe linux-dvb" as subject.
