I had the same problem. And I included my data also into the dvb.c . But do
you think that this is the solution? Has everybody now to find out the right
card data and has to patch the sources to get it running?
Here are my card data (Galaxy) for future include:

What subvendor device id does your card report with lspci?
I changed the handling of the different sub ids a little bit.
Now unknown ids are completely rejected in get_card_type() in
dvb.c (or av7110/av7110.c in the new tree).
