Hi,

Looks like it's more an issue of the "arm_mon".

I've now copied "Root" and "Dpram" to
"/lib/modules/2.4.17-0.13/dvb", reboot, changed into this
directory and run the "modprobe". -> All is working fine from
beginning.

But "lsof" looks like still strange to me:

# lsof | grep "/lib/modules"
arm_mon 1352 root cwd DIR 8,4 4096 96999
/lib/modules/2.4.17-0.13/dvb
arm_mon 1352 root 3r REG 8,4 474516 97009
/lib/modules/2.4.17-0.13/dvb/dvb.o

Why keeps kernel thread "arm_mon" still open the dir and module
file?

Is this a required feature?

        Peter
