Hi list, A while back Kenneth Falck reported that he's TT-DVB-C card did not tune to frequencies below 200 MHz. Last week I got an answer regarding this issue from TechnoTrend where they acknowledged the problem and this week they said that I could donwload a new TT-PCI-budget card software from their site. I was under the impression that the problem would be hardware related, but apparently it was either software realted or they could do some kind of workaround in software/firmware.
The problem is that we (me and Kenneth) are experiencing the same problem with the Linux driver; it won't tune to frequencies below 200MHz. Most LinuxDVB users have not encountered this problem (the same goes for TT) since all DVB bouquets in Germany are located in the higher frequency ranges. I tried to ask TT for some clues what they fixed, but I haven't heard from them since. I also asked them to cooperate with Convergence relating to the driver, but, as I said, I haven't heard from them since. I would really much like to see this problem fixed in the linux driver since 4 out of 7 bouquets in Finland are located below 200MHz. But I don't have any idea where to start fixing this. I'd assume that it's something in the firmware, but I don't really have a clue. Could the driver developers please comment on this?
