What card type do you have ? This version uses an autodetection based on some data stored in the EEPROM of the card. Some cards contain data in the fields used for autodetection that is not specified as valid identification data and consequently the card is not detected. First of all turn on debugging a little more. (all, except i2c debugging - huge traffic). One of these will show you what ID your card actually has. Then you will need to patch the driver to recognize a card with your id. The intructions Rolf gave me are in another mailbox at home. I will dig those up and write a small howto on my site.
