Hi,

I used the BS170 as an replace.

The Author of the drawing (Joerg Riechardt) said,
it is just for inverting the signal.
You may find this in a thread on the vdr list

Betreff: [linux-dvb] Rev 1.3 IR-Connector

Hi,

I want to build the IR Reciever for the rev 1.3 card, like described on
www.linuxdvb.tv.

At my favourite shop there is no 'BSS 98' transistor, does anybody know,
what type I can use else, or must I use exactly this one. I.e. Reichelt
has only a 'BSS 38', is this ok, too?

ciao
Dariush
