in szap channel lists symbolrate (in kSymbols/sec) is the 5th entry:

MTV Central:12699:v:0:22000:3031:3032:1:28643

FEC is hardcoded to FEC_AUTO. If you want to change this modify szap.c, line 179. For VDR ask Klaus or on the VDR mailing list.

You have to enter these values into the channel list of the program you use for zapping.

I'm using vdr trying also fzap but there is no place for FEC which program
support it?
