As far as i've read, the IR-Receiver only works with Remotes speaking
the RC5-Protocol, and this one is mainly used by Philips. (Correct me
when I'm wrong on this.)
Fortunatly I've got a universal remote (Philips SBC Ru 540, bought by
"Quelle", about 15�) that does the job quite well.
Still too few buttons (I count 30 + a Shift key), but a very good start.
I'm sure any other universal remote can also send the RC5-commands...
