The TechniSat SkyStar2 (B2C2-card) costs 59,- EUR. The TechnoTrend Budget card (e.g. the Hauppauge WinTV Nova-S) costs 99,- EUR. That's a factor of only 1.68... How much Euros/USD does the SkyMedia 200D cost? These have hardware MPEG decoders and are thus much more expensive Stil cheaper then SAA7146 cards: The SAA7146 "budget" cards cost 2.5 times of B2C2.
