i've looked at dvb-kernel and have decided that the monolithic architecture of the drivers above saa7146 argues against such a port. please apply my last patch against the DVB tree only.

I applied the required changes to the dvb-kernel tree, but I'm not able to test it since I don't have any Nova-CI card. Please review the code, test and tell me what you think.
