yes, I believe I downloaded 3.88 on the web but for some reason it showed 3.54, isn't it linked wrong?(http://bytesex.org/xawtv/) do i have to download with correct one? i tried and tried.
anyways, I have an SAA7146 card installed and downloaded driver from (http://www.knc1.com/gb.htm) and compiled it. I enabled the following kernel configs. Video4Linux Support (CONFIG_VIDEODEV), Input Core Support (CONFIG_INPUT) and Event Device Support (CONFIG_INPUT_EVDEV) and lsmod looks like this. Module Size Used by dvb 237360 0 dvb_frontend 3680 0 [dvb] dvb_demux 13184 1 [dvb] saa7146_v4l 14784 0 (unused) saa7146_core 13776 0 [dvb saa7146_v4l] tuner 5872 1 stv0299 2752 1 tda8083 2128 0 (unused) SP8870 2448 0 (unused) L64781 3536 0 (unused) VES1820 3328 0 (unused) VES1893 3456 0 (unused) dmxdev 8000 1 [dvb] dvb_filter 7248 0 [dvb] videodev 5728 0 [dvb] i2c-core 12608 0 [dvb dvb_frontend saa7146_core tuner stv0299 tda8083 SP8870 L64781 VES1820 VES1893] dvb_net 3344 0 [dvb] dvbdev 1568 1 [dvb] What else kernel config do I have to enable to get things to work? does it have something to do with bttv things?
