AFAIK the analog-2.4 stuff is for analog-only TV cards based on the saa7146. Last time I checked, there was some offset on the frequencies, i.e. my .xawtvrc created with a Typhoon TV card does not work with the DVB-C driver. This might be a simple thing to fix.
