I want to disable zigzag scan for the ALPS_TDLB7 frontend driver. In older driver versions flag FE_CAN_RECOVER could be added to the frontend capabilities flags to do this. It seems that this is not possible anymore in the current cvs driver. Is there another way to disable zigzag scan now? Is the zigzag scan necessary for DVB-T frontends at all?
FE_CAN_RECOVER was only introduced in dvb-kernel, right? In general it's a good time to switch over to the dvb-kernel source tree if you are willing to dig a little deeper into the code...
