"make" and "make insmod" of the driver from CVS works fine, Thanks.
Then I compiled the VDR-software (version 1.2.1).
When I start the software either via /usr/local/bin/vdr or /usr/local/bin/runvdr I only receive these in /var/log/messages:

After compiling the sources, when I type 'make insmod' I receive this error message:

Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid IO or IRQ parameters.
You may find more information in syslog or the output from dmesg
make[1]: *** [insmod] Fehler 1

Try the driver from CVS. If that doesn't work post the kernel messages from loading the driver + 'lspci -vv' and 'lspci -vvn' output for the SAA7146.
