Hello, I'm new in this mailing list and have the following problem: I'm using Red Hat 9 with Kernel 2.6.0-test3. The kernel sources were downloaded from kernel.org.My DVB card is a Pinnacle PCTV SAT. I have downloaded the current dvb-kernel drivers via CVS.
To install the driver I run: # ./makelinks /usr/src/linux # cd /usr/sr/linux # make xconfig there I activate the Pinnacle PCTV Sat. Then I save the configuration and do: # make bzImage # make modules During "make modules" I get the following errors: CC [M] drivers/media/video/bttv-driver.o drivers/media/video/bttv-driver.c: In function `bttv_prepare_buffer': drivers/media/video/bttv-driver.c:1283: too few arguments to function `videobuf_iolock' drivers/media/video/bttv-driver.c: In function `bttv_do_ioctl': drivers/media/video/bttv-driver.c:2247: too few arguments to function `videobuf_mmap_setup' make[3]: *** [drivers/media/video/bttv-driver.o] Fehler 1 make[2]: *** [drivers/media/video] Fehler 2 make[1]: *** [drivers/media] Fehler 2 make: *** [drivers] Fehler 2 What was wrong? Are there any workarounds? Thank You - Ralf -- Info: To unsubscribe send a mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe linux-dvb" as subject.
