Hi,
I just bought a Hauppauge WinTV Nova-t for watch DVB-t here in Berlin. Unfortunately, it seems to be unstable, causing crashes from time to time. I never had any problems with stability of my Linux system, so I guess it's due to the newly installed dvb kernel modules.
Or the card itself. Atleast for DVB-s I know that it does have a considerable power consumption - including the need to install another fan near the card to get rid of the heat. Btw, I have a bttv-based card installed as well, no problems about that.
Anyway, welcome aboard David ;-) -- cheers, guido http://google.de/search?q=guidod
