Here is what I get when I do the make command on a Red Hat 9.0 server. /lib/modules/2.4.20-6smp/build/scripts/pathdown.sh: line 4: TOPDIR: parameter null or not set DIR=`pwd`; (cd /lib/modules/2.4.20-6smp/build; make SUBDIRS=$DIR modules) make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/linux-2.4.20-6'
The present kernel configuration has modules disabled. Type 'make config' and enable loadable module support. Then build a kernel with module support enabled. make[1]: *** [modules] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.4.20-6' make: *** [here] Error 2 If anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it. -Jesse G.
