That would be OK for receiving the whole TS, but I doubt that the RPS is clever enough to do the PID filtering (I could be wrong - I don't know any details about the RPS programming).
why do you want to do PID filtering on the RPS? it's done in software in the current Nova driver anyway...
A clever RPS program would just replace the busy-waiting timing critical DMA-register reprogramming code.
Robert: would you post the RPS code snippets from your BDA code?
