Hi all,
I have a nova-t dvb card which works perfectly in windows.
However under linux, I can tune to every station except one.

I am in Canberra, Australia and I can't tune to the ABC.
ABC broadcasts on channel VHF "9A" which is apparently 205500kHz.

Can anyone think of a reason why this would not work? What does the 'A'
mean anyway? All the other channels are on a whole numbers, and they
seem to work fine.

The likely problem you are having is that Australian digital channels can also transmit at an offset of 125 kHz from the centre frequency. If you try tuning 205625 and 205375 kHz one of those will likely work.

Other details of the network here are:

Bandwidth: 7MHz
      QAM: 64
     Mode: 8kHz
Hierarchy: NONE
Inversion: OFF

The entry I have in my channels.conf file is:
ABC:205500000:INVERSION_OFF:BANDWIDTH_7_MHZ:FEC_3_4:FEC_2_3:QAM_64: \
TRANSMISSION_MODE_8K:GUARD_INTERVAL_1_16:HIERARCHY_NONE:263:512:

All the other parameters look fine.
