Hi :) I just recently bought a DVB-C card from www.dvbshop.tv ....
DVB: registering new adapter (Siemens cable card PCI rev1.5). PCI: Found IRQ 5 for device 00:0d.0 ves1820.c: setup for tuner spXXXX DVB: registering frontend 0:0 (VES1820 based DVB-C frontend)... mt312_read: ret == -121 DVB: AV7111(0) - firm f0240009, rtsl b0250018, vid 71010068, app 8000261a DVB: AV7111(0) - firmware supports CI link layer interface av7110(0): DVB-C w/o analog module detected Siemens cable card PCI rev1.5 adapter 0 has MAC addr = 00:d0:5c:02:06:53 And whilst the /dev/video works great, and the composite output also works like a charm.. the S-Video output appears to be knackered.... I can see the picture, and sometimes the colour, but it's like I'm displaying a 'PAL60' signal on my PAL TV... the picture is vertically rolling extremely fast... I even tried it on another (much more modern TV) that I know can display NTSC and PAL60 material just fine, and the picture was all distorted, although static... This starts to happen even as soon as the "(C) 2001 Convergence" appears on screen... I really don't want to have to watch a composite image output if I can help it! :( Is this something that I can try tweaking some driver parameters to fix, or am I likely to have a faulty card? Cheers, Gavin. -- Info: To unsubscribe send a mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe linux-dvb" as subject.
