Well, that's the reason why I tried this setting. I was looking for some
integrity
checks and tried to disable these. The comments in the source say, that the
firmware
does no crc32 check.

What can I do to dig deeper? I looked at the source but I don't understand
which parts are executed with hw_sections=0/1. If I'm the only one with this
problem,
I can live with the workaround, but when I can help to find the cause, just
let
me know what to do.

Jamie suggested this fix: Replace every occurence of crc32_le() by crc32_be() in dvb_demux.c and dvb_compat.[hc]. Please report whether this works or not.
