Sure, it is the best bet for now. The fourth or fifth time you have to count colons it gets a bit boring. The reason there are several versions is because it had to be extended, I suggest that won't stop. (It'll probably spill over into other files). I'm not seriously suggesting an alternative at the moment. DVB does need slightly different ways of thinking about things. The autogenerating bit is sometimes not so auto.
