need another frontend module for the -t version.


Try alps_tdmb7. There also were some Nova-USB-T versions available 
with other frontends, but I don't know remember exactly which one they 
used.

Now I'm really confused.  What are frontends?   (I have a feeling I'm 
being dense again)
The part of your DVB receiver box or card that takes the Radio Frequency 
signal from air and transforms it into a digital MPEG stream which gets 
feeded to the next stage of processing.
