Hi!
I've been playing with dvbtextsubs-0.1 but I don't get any subs from my recordings ... I have a Nova-T and have done like this;
I've recorded a stream with (V=1019, A=1018, TT=1014): ./dvbstream -n 120 -c 1 -f 674000 -o 1019 1014 1018 > . SVT12.ts
I can play back that stream in for example mplayer without problem.
Then I ran that file through dvbtextsubs; --<SNIP>-- ./dvbtextsubs -i 1014 691 < ../dvbstream/SVT12.ts
The obvious questions are:
1) Are the subtitles definitely on PID 1014 and definitely onn page 691? The service information from that transponder (using dvbtune -i to dump it) should confirm that. It's possible that normal teletext is on PID 1014, but the subtitles are broadcast on a different PID.
2) Are they definitely teletext subtitles, and not DVB (i.e. bitmapped) subtitles?
If the answers to both questions are yes, could you make a sample recording (no bigger than about 50MB) available for me to download from somewhere?
Regards,
Dave.
