Not sure... I'm trying various combinations but it hasnt reoccured... > > AFAIK it will still need the hotplug scripts even when > compiled into the kernel. Well I got the latest and it seems to be active (disconcerting that there is no status message but there is a lock)... however it doesnt seem to be doing anything. /var/log/messages merrily states: kernel: hub 1-0:1.0: new USB device on port 2, assigned address 14 kernel: usb 1-2: USB disconnect, address 14 kernel: hub 1-0:1.0: new USB device on port 2, assigned address 15 but no modules are loaded... am I doing something silly by not understanding the hotplug manuals? ...I'm not sure if there's something I have to do with the config?
